SEMI: Mentor Graphics best in the west

News

Solid State Technology and SEMI have announced the recipient of the 2013 "Best of West" Award - Mentor Graphics.

The firm has been commended for its Tessent TestKompress with Cell-Aware automatic test pattern generation (ATPG).

The award recognises important product and technology developments in the microelectronics supply chain. Held in conjunction with SEMICON West , the Best of West finalists were selected based on their financial impact on the industry, engineering or scientific achievement, and/or societal impact.

The Mentor Graphics Tessent TestKompress with Cell-Aware ATPG significantly improves on the standard process for testing digital integrated circuits and reduces failure escape rate by detecting defects at the transistor level that are missed by traditional ATPG techniques.

The Mentor Graphics booth is in the North Hall, Booth #6243. The firm's winning entry was entered in the "Silicon Test Solutions, Facilities & Software" category.

The Best of West Award winner was announced during SEMICON West on Wednesday, July 10th, 2013 at 1pm.
