Plasma-Therm has added Scientech as its distributor for the Greater China Region (including China, Hong Kong and Taiwan), which became effective on July 1st, 2013.

Scientech is a distributor of semiconductor equipment in the region.

"Plasma-Therm's 15 years of consecutive customer service awards, including recognition as the #1 supplier of semiconductor equipment worldwide for 2013, along with Scientech's proven commitment to customer satisfaction, creates a perfect partnership to bring our customers in Greater China the best products and services available anywhere in the world," says Plasma-Therm CEO Abdul Lateef.

Scientech CEO M.T. Hsu responds adds, "Scientech boasts highly trained engineers in Semiconductor, LED, FPD, and Scientific Instruments industries, which positions the organisation ideally to promote Plasma-Therm's product offerings throughout the Greater China Region."

Jim Pollock, Plasma-Therm's Executive Vice President of Sales, says of the initiative, "We see great potential for growth in China and Taiwan, and it is obvious that to be successful in the region we require not only capable sales representation but an organisation with long experience, deep service infrastructure and a commitment to customer satisfaction above all. By choosing Scientech as our partner, we have established the critical mass needed to serve our customers in the Greater China Region to the highest levels for sales, service and after-sale support."
