Seiko Epson becomes licensee to Tessera's IP
Tessera Technologies, Inc. has announced that its Tessera, Inc. and Invensas Corporation subsidiaries each entered into new patent license agreements with Seiko Epson Corporation.
"We are delighted that Epson has become Invensas Corporation's newest licensee, in addition to entering into an expanded relationship with Tessera, Inc.," says Jim MacDonald, executive vice president, intellectual property and business development, Tessera Intellectual Property Corporation.
"Epson's innovative track record make them a natural licensee for these semiconductor and semiconductor packaging licenses. Multi-year agreements like these validate the importance of our intellectual property portfolios," adds MacDonald.
The companies did not disclose the specific financial terms of the agreements.
Tessera Technologies, Inc. says it is making no adjustment to its fourth quarter of 2013 financial guidance given on November 6th, 2013.
