TSMC awards Gigaphoton Taiwan

Gigaphoton Taiwan received a letter of appreciation from each fab for the special contribution to TSMC as a supplier at the Supplier Service Appreciation Ceremony held at Fab 12 and Fab 14 at TSMC in November and December 2013.

This letter of appreciation was sent out to suppliers for their services and support with the major recipients being equipment manufacturers, material manufacturers and maintenance service providers. As a result, it is rare that this letter be awarded to a sub-component manufacturer such as Gigaphoton.

Gigaphoton Taiwan commenced operations in July 2012 and since then has worked closely with head office in Japan to provide prompt and high-level services and support to local customers in Taiwan.

This award is a sign of recognition on the part of TSMC, one of Gigaphoton's major clients, of the consistent hard work and dedication of Gigaphoton Taiwan.

Shin Asaeda, President of Gigaphoton Taiwan had the following to say in wake of receiving the award. "I am extremely honoured to have received this award. Gigaphoton Taiwan will continue to provide quality services and support to meet every customer's needs from a long-term perspective."

Gigaphoton has established local subsidiaries and agencies in major centers around the world, including Taiwan, Korea, Europe and the United States etc. We will continue to reinforce our global support framework moving forward toward our aim of providing quality services and support for customers around the world.

Since its founding in 2000, Gigaphoton has developed and delivered user-friendly, high-performance DUV laser light sources used by major semiconductor chipmakers in the Pan-Asian, US and European regions.

Gigaphoton says its patented LPP EUV technology solutions lead the way to cost-effective, highly productive lithography sources for high-volume production.
