Xcerra to support electronics supply chain

Xcerra Corporation is a brand, which brings together expertise in test solutions for the electronics industry.

Combining four powerful brands of the semiconductor and PCB test industries - atg Luther & Maelzer, Everett Charles Technologies, LTX-Credence and Multitest - Xcerra aims to provide innovative and cost effective handling, contacting and measurement solutions.

Xcerra serves a larger portion of the electronics supply chain than any of the four brands did on its own. This will allow for comprehensive insights into market trends and drivers.

Xcerra says it is in a unique position to develop innovative products and integrated solutions that will increase efficiency, accelerate time to high-volume production and reduce costs.

Based on the strong global presence of the combined businesses, Xcerra will provide a fast response in the industry.

The Xcerra leadership team leverages the expertise of the executives from the combined businesses and is headed by President and CEO Dave Tacelli from LTX-Credence,

What does this mean for customers?

Xcerra says customers can count on its expertise in test solutions for the electronics industry to continue to provide market leading products, develop products that optimise the overall test cell, shorten the time to high-volume production and deliver world-class customer support.

Xcerra will be the umbrella company for the operating businesses. The established contacts and legal business partners will not change.

While Xcerra will develop sophisticated integrated test solutions, customers will continue to receive the same high level support - whether they decide for a single product or a fully integrated solution.
