Brewer Science Showcase Next-Generation Military Nanotechnology
Brewer Science presented new technology applications at the 12th Annual NanoTechnology for Defense Conference (NT4D), November 17th through 20th.
Brewer Science showcased how the biggest innovations are packed inside the tiniest technologies as it demonstrates its newest military nanotechnology products. The NT4D Conference is the premier event for addressing emerging nanotechnologies for defense.
Brewer Science will provide a demonstration of the Brewer Science TH1022A101 transducer, a revolutionary temperature and humidity device that has the potential to protect our men and women in uniform by detecting equipment malfunctions or malicious tampering of military vehicles or equipment. This innovative technology also has the ability to add battery life to critical defense equipment.
Brewer Science's process monitoring equipment technology, enabled by our unique, fully integrated transducers, is an adaptable and ultralow-power solution customized for wireless environmental monitoring systems and other applications where long battery life is a priority. The transducer device uses leading-edge print technology.
"We are pleased to demonstrate our newest technologies at NT4D," said Dr. Terry Brewer, founder and president of Brewer Science. "Our industry must deliver devices that are smaller, more responsive, and energy efficient. Brewer Science has a history of leading technology that enables the world's leading microdevice creation. The Brewer Science sensor platform builds on our experience and ongoing commitment to develop leading-edge technology."
Dr. Stephen Gibbons, Director of Technology, Carbon Electronics, will present "Next-Generation Carbon Nanotube "˜Solutions' for Printed Electronics" at the poster session for Advanced Coatings and Films. "Brewer Science has discovered new technology that utilizes standard printed and microlithography techniques. By building on familiar platforms we can easily transition into multiple applications and products because the devices form factor, size, substrate, and accuracy can all be adjusted to meet customer requirements."
Brewer Science continues to make significant advances in identifying new materials and processes that enhance microelectronic devices, enabling them to become more powerful, faster, and smaller.
