New Americas Sales Director for Henkel

The Electronics Group of Henkel has appointed Brian Betti as the company's new Americas Sales Director.  Having worked in the electronics industry for over 20 years, the last 15 of which have been spent in sales roles at Henkel, Betti was the obvious choice for this important position.

Betti began his electronics career with a small solder materials company, where he spent five years before taking on the position of territory sales manager for Multicore, a leading solder business which was ultimately acquired by Henkel.  With a passion for sales, Betti continued to advance in customer-facing roles, moving into regional sales management, channel management and then assuming his current position as Americas Sales Director.

"It's a great time to be in this job and to be a part of Henkel," says Betti.  "We have some exceptional new products coming to market and have implemented several strategic initiatives that are already paying off.  I look forward to leading our talented team and growing the Henkel Electronics business in the Americas and globally."

Part of the challenge and the reward of Betti's new role are to ensure growth in the region with a constant eye on progress globally.  As numerous Henkel customers are multinational, this involves connecting with customer engineering teams both at the design and manufacturing phases.  While not all customers manufacture product in the Americas, engaging with the Americas-based design centers is critical to supporting a successful rollout at receiving manufacturing sites, wherever they may be globally.

Managing global business development success is not new to Betti.  In addition to his former position as Director of Channel Management, where he oversaw Henkel's external sales channel partners in the Americas and helped grow distribution sales by 25%, Betti was tapped with managing the expansion of the company's solder business around the world.  For the better part of the last two years, Betti led the Global Business Development team for the company's solder products.  Building momentum with the introduction of the company's award-winning LOCTITE halogen-free solder paste materials and high-reliability 90iSC alloy, Betti and the team saw solder sales climb to historic levels.  Now, with the launch of a brand new game-changing solder paste, the Henkel solder business is set to permanently change solder processing methodologies.

In his new role as Americas Sales Director, Betti plans to leverage his past achievements and experience to ensure broad strategic account coverage and success, while improving the overall customer experience.  "I have no doubt that our team will achieve its objectives," concludes Betti.  "We have the right products, the right people and are partnered with the world's top electronics companies.  The next few years are going to be very exciting."

Betti holds a degree in Business from Northeastern Illinois University.  As Henkel Americas Sales Director, he will be based in Chicago, Illinois.
