Phillip Burr, recently appointed Head of Product at Lumai, explains the company’s mission to deliver fully optical computing that can compute at faster speeds and at greater scales ‘than ever before’. Lumai is developing 3D optics that can perform computations 1000x faster than traditional electronics, while consuming only 1/100th of the energy.
